Did you know that October is National Chiropractic Month?  It was news to me as well and given that SimplaFYI is in the business of expanding awareness and access to chiropractic care, among other integrative care practices, I am glad we found out!  Our spine health is such an important part of wellbeing.  I don’t know about you, but I have certainly had my share of back issues and every day am cautious of how I move for fear of re-injuring my “fragile” lower back.

According to the American Chiropractic Association, a healthy spine is an often-overlooked and essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, approximately 80% of the population suffers from spinal pain at some point. People who are overweight or obese, who smoke, lift heavy objects, or had a previous episode of back pain, are more likely to experience back pain.
